This extreme high temperature, heat and flame resistant fabric is used for equipment protection, welding curtains and blankets. Silica resists weld splatter much better than fiberglass.
The fabric is available in 2 finishes and 3 weights:
ThermalShieldä 2500 - 30:
· Satin Weave.
· 0.030" thick. 18oz/sq-yd
· 36" wide roll width. Maximum 150 foot roll length.
· Produced from an extremely pure silica base fiber (SiO2) and can be
used at 2300F continuously with excursions to 3000F / 1650C.

· Satin Weave.
· 0.054" thick. 24oz/sq-yd
· 36" wide roll width. Maximum 150 foot roll length.
· Produced from an extremely pure silica base fiber (SiO2) and can be
used at 2300F continuously with excursions to 3000F / 1650C.

· Plain Weave.
· 0.090" thick. 40oz/sq-yd
· 38" wide roll width. Maximum 150 foot roll length.
· Produced from an extremely pure silica base fiber (SiO2) and can be
used at 2300F continuously with excursions to 3000F / 1650C.
