Very High Temperature, Heat Resistant, Fiberglass Woven Plain Tape & Drop Warp Tape (Bolt-hole / Ladder Tape):
Premium & Industrial Grades
Woven Tapes: Top Roll is a Plain Tape
Bottom Roll is a Drop-Warp (Bolt Hole / Ladder Tape)
High temperature and heat resistant fiberglass (fibreglass or glassfibre) tapes are used to wrap wire, cable, hose, pipe or tube and other hot process equipment components, or used as a gasket on doors and access panels for ovens, furnaces, kilns or stoves (wood stove or pellet stove).
The tape with web-seperator (top roll in photo) allows for easy installation as a gasket for bolt-hole tensioning applications located mid-gasket and is often called a drop warp, bolt-hole or ladder-tape
High Temperature Woven Fiberglass Tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1000°F / 520°C. This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is highly flexible and conformable. The base fiber is manufactured to the specifications of ASTM D-578, ASTM committee D13, and subcommittee D13.18.
